Formless Horror

    This game is played in Scenarios, where the characters must play investigator and attempt to unravel the mystery surrounding the Location they find themselves in, while the Monster builds its power and waits for the right moment to strike them down.

The Story Shapes The Monster

As the characters navigate the mystery and explore the Location, they will trigger Flags that inform the Monster's abilities as it stalks, harries, and attacks them.

Formless Threat

The Monster's shape is never set in stone.  Every new Scenario means the Monster can gain different abilities and stalk the characters in new ways.

Myriad Personalities

Play as the headstrong Leader, the wise Scholar, the irreverent Fool, or one of the other Archetypes in this book, or create your own based on the existing ones and bring unique, powerful abilities to bear against the Monster as you strive to survive and stop it.
